Name: Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd
Canon: Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Age: 22
Appearance: Image link
Canon Point: End of Chapter 17
Background: Wiki link

Personality:

- Chivalrous: Known for his chivalry, even his enemies acknowledge his tendency toward wanting things to be "fair and square". Though his knightly behavior takes a hit for a while when he loses himself, even then he avoids attacking innocents or using devious tactics, preferring to face enemies head-on.

- Compassionate: Though his compassion isn't as easy to see in his current state, it's still present, if mostly focused on the feelings of the dead. A character goes so far as to say later in the game that his deep compassion is likely what drove him mad.

- Loyal: Dimitri is exceedingly loyal, even death doesn't erase his feelings of loyalty and obligation towards those he's close to. Despite the fact that Edelgard is now his enemy, deep down, he still wants to reach out to her again. At his current canon point he's too angry to do so, but later in the game, he insists on meeting her to try and talk things out before fighting and even goes as far as to give her back the dagger she lost that he gave to her when they were children.

- Responsible: If Dimitri thinks something is his responsibility, he will do whatever it takes to fulfill expectations. From lessons to revenge to his administrative duties as king, he'll give his all.

- Obsessive: Dimitri devotes himself to people and causes wholly, to the point of obsession. While his focus is typically seen as admirable in his youth since his chosen pursuits are proper for a prince, when he snaps and puts everything he has into vengeance, it's shown how ugly those obsessive tendencies can get. His obsession is capable of overshadowing and sometimes even completely overriding every other aspect of his personality.

- Loneliness: Though Dimitri feels as if he doesn't deserve to stand side-by-side with decent people, he's a very lonely person who desperately craves a real connection with someone. Unfortunately, most of his friends take his status into account too much for his tastes, with the big exceptions being Edelgard (when they were kids), Byleth, and Felix. For various reasons, only Byleth is still cordial with Dimitri, and since they haven't known each other for long, the connection isn't as deep as he would like.

- Depressive/self-hating: Laden with guilt for being the sole survivor of the massacre that took his biological family from him, Dimitri is prone to bouts of depression and self-hatred

Weaknesses/Temptations: Dimitri's main motivators are his obsessive need for revenge and his survivor's guilt. Nudging him toward indulging in violence to sate his thirst for revenge is likely to work as long as his adrenaline is running high, though it won't be as effective if he has time to think about what he's doing. Consistent reinforcement of the idea that he's a monster who can't be redeemed and he should stay in hell because he deserves it is probably the easiest way to hinder his path to atonement.

Sins:

Murder
- Single-handedly kills countless soldiers or anyone he perceives as an enemy while on the run, to the point that rumors of a one-eyed demon start to circulate.
- Indirectly kills many of his followers while rampaging his way across the continent, both soldiers and civilians
- Feels responsible for the deaths of people who lost their lives protecting him
- Feels that even the "normal" killing he does in defense of others is still murder

Wrath
- Allows his anger to consume him to the point that he fails to take the lives of his subjects into account when choosing his battlefields
- So angry all the time that he mistreats his allies
- Continues on a bloody crusade despite warnings from his allies that his soldiers will lose their lives

Bloodlust
- Derives enjoyment from revenge killing. He's seen with a crazed smile on the battlefield more than once, and is even shown crushing an enemy's neck with a single hand while grinning.

Powers/Abilities:

- Inhuman Strength: Dimitri's strength is such that he had difficulty controlling it in his youth, to the point that he would accidentally break solid metal weapons while training. He struggles with small detail work too, snapping needles and twisting scissors when he attempts to so much as mend his own clothing. His control levels out when he reaches adulthood, presumably because puberty is over and he's not getting stronger all the time anymore. This strength likely originates from the Crest of Blaiddyd.

- High Stamina/Constitution: Though Dimitri is injured many times over the course of the story, he's never shown needing rest for physical reasons. He rarely sleeps and only eats enough to survive, but his fighting ability is never impeded. His mental faculties, however, suffer greatly if he fails to take time out for himself.

- Military/Fighting Skills: Dimitri is skilled with the lance, sword, and makes an excellent commander when he's able to divert his focus away from vengeance. He has a strong aptitude for riding as well. Though his talent for black magic is severely limited, he has a better grasp of white magic and can use it both to heal and to fight. Still, his raw magical power is low, especially in comparison to his physical fighting ability.

Items: Dimitri will arrive wearing his armor and his lance Areadbhar, though Areadbhar is large and if it's considered too big to "wear", he can go without it. As for other items, he'll bring a cloth and some oil to clean weapons with and the dagger he gifted to Edelgard when they were children.
